Steve, Tony and I had an easy trip down to Port-au-Prince. Hal Nungster from HIS Home for Children picked us up at the airport. We are now at Dottie's Guesthouse. Mr. Brown, the guard dog, provided us with his usual warm greeting. He really loves his job. It's been a long day and it is great to be able to relax in such a comfortable accommodation.Tried to upload a photo of Tony and Steve and another guest, Chuck, in the dining room but it wasn't cooperating. Maybe tomorrow....
Tomorrow we plan to attend services at Quisquenya (I'm butchering the spelling) Chapel and then will meet up with Kez, the nurse, and follow her on her rounds in the Ravine, a very poor neighborhood. I hope to be assigned the job of passing out chewable vitamins to the hordes of children that congregate at each of her stops.
M'ale for now!
